After getting swept by the Bengals last week, the Ravens look to bounce back in Cleveland Browns Stadium- the slums of the AFC North. Can the Browns prevent a beatdown from their division rivals with Brady Quinn under center? Let’s break down the matchup. Ravens on OffenseThe Ravens never got it going in their loss to Cincy last week. Besides putting up only 7 points, they went 1 of 10 on 3rd down and had the ball for just 20 minutes. Moreover, Joe Flacco went 18-32 with 2 picks. But there’s good news; the best cure for a struggling young QB is to play the Browns, who gave up 31 points to Aaron Rodgers’ Packers and 30 to Jay Cutler’s Bears. Last week, Ray Rice was Baltimore’s leading receiver, which cannot happen in a Ravens offense that’s been pass-heavy this year. Flacco needs to get Derrick Mason and Todd Heap back in the mix. On another note, the Ravens have had the most success when they commit to the ground game. There’s no reason why Ray Rice shouldn’t get 20 touches against a Cleveland D that allows 170. 5 rushing yards a game. On the other side, the Browns’ LB corpse can hold its own. Led by leading tackler D’Qwell Jackson and Kamerion Wimbley (who has 5 sacks), the Browns can cause some commotion if they play with a reckless abandonment. Browns on OffenseSo Brady Quinn gets the nod, but how much can he help a team that has 5 offensive touchdowns this season? Quinn will not be heroic by any means, but he gives the Browns a better chance because he is more accurate and turns the ball over less. Plus, Quinn showed he has big-game ability when he torched the Giants last year on Monday Night Football. But whether it’s Quinn or Derek Anderson taking snaps, the Browns have put up just under 10 points and 221 yards per game and the O-line has given up 19 sacks. And although Cleveland won’t admit it, they could really use a big-play receiver like Braylon Edwards to save their league-worst passing attack. Rookie Mohamed Massaquoi shows flashes but needs to be more consistent if the Browns intend to threaten a secondary led by Ed Reed. As for the run, Cleveland can only hope for Jamal Lewis to stick it to his former team one last time before he throws in the towel. But unless Lewis suddenly returns to Pro Bowl form, Baltimore should have no problem stopping the run. Last Week, Cedric Benson ran all over the Ravens, and Ray Lewis took it personal. Look for his emotions to spread to the rest of his teammates on defense. The Browns can make it a game if they loosen up and play with the purpose of wrecking a team with playoff hopes. But in the end, Baltimore will grind it out in classic Raven fashion- controlling the pace offensively and keeping the Browns in lockdown mode. PredictionBaltimore 34 Cleveland 10
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns Live Streaming
Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers insisted they weren’t panicking about their sinking playoff chances after a three-game losing streak. A fourth straight loss, however, seems to have the Super Bowl champions contemplating wholesale changes.
With their chances of defending that title fading with each defeat, the Steelers hit the road Thursday night looking to halt their midseason swoon with a 13th consecutive victory over the feeble Cleveland Browns.
Pittsburgh (6-6) started the season 1-2, but then ran off five consecutive wins to put itself in position to challenge emerging Cincinnati in the AFC North.
An 18-12 Bengals victory at Heinz Field on Nov. 15, however, gave Cincinnati a one-game lead and a season sweep of the Steelers. Three subsequent losses by three points apiece have now left Pittsburgh’s wild-card hopes in doubt.
The Steelers’ once-vaunted defense has blown fourth-quarter leads in all three, with its worst collapse Sunday against Oakland. Pittsburgh coughed up three separate leads in the final 8:21, allowing the Raiders’ 31st-ranked offense to score 21 points and leave Heinz Field with a 27-24 win.
“I can’t even describe how frustrating it is right now to be 6-6,” linebacker James Farrior said. “We thought we’d be doing a lot better at this point. But we are what our record says we are. ”
That record currently has the Steelers on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, but ground can certainly be made up in the muddled AFC wild-card picture the final four weeks. Denver (8-4) and Jacksonville (7-5) are the two current leaders, with Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Miami and the New York Jets all 6-6.
The Steelers own a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Broncos and face the Ravens and Dolphins to close the season.
Tomlin, however, is far more concerned with the franchise avoiding its first five-game slide since Sept. 28-Nov. 2, 2003. A week after saying his team “doesn’t blink in the face of adversity” and would “unleash hell in December,” Tomlin admitted Monday that personnel moves are on the way.
“We can’t stay status quo in terms of how we’re approaching this and expect the pattern of behavior or outcome to change,” Tomlin said. “That’s unrealistic. That’s hoping. This is not a hope business. ”
One of those likely moves certainly won’t be by choice. Receiver Hines Ward, who has six touchdowns in his last eight games against Cleveland, likely won’t play after suffering a hamstring injury late in the loss to Oakland. Rookie Mike Wallace, who has five catches during the losing streak after having 25 in his first seven games, will get the start if Ward can’t go.
The other noticeable changes will come in the secondary. All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu (knee) will likely miss his fourth straight game — he left early in the November loss to Cincinnati — and struggling cornerback William Gay might not play after suffering a concussion against the Raiders.
Meanwhile, Tomlin suggested veteran corner Ike Taylor, who was beaten for a 75-yard touchdown Sunday, could be benched, with rookies Joe Burnett and Keenan Lewis seeing more playing time in the secondary. Polamalu, who’s played in three full games, has three interceptions, but no Pittsburgh cornerback has a pick.
“I’m not going to make excuses,” Tomlin said. “I think we’re capable of playing winning football with or without Troy. Are we different? Yes, because Troy’s a unique individual. Maybe the ceiling is different but the floor, the level of expectation, is the same. ”
Ben Roethlisberger, who missed the team’s Nov. 29 loss at Baltimore with a concussion, had a quarterback rating over 100. 0 for his second straight game despite Sunday’s loss, and the Ohio native was outstanding against the Browns (1-11) earlier this season. Roethlisberger was 23 of 35 for 417 yards and two touchdowns on Oct. 18 in Pittsburgh’s 27-14 win, its 12th straight against Cleveland.
San Diego’s 13-game winning streak over Oakland is the active record for most consecutive wins over one opponent.

In NFL Betting Picks ,the Baltimore Ravens were inefficient, unproductive and disorganized.
In 17 seconds, they changed all that.
Ray Rice scored on a 13-yard run and safety Dawan Landry returned an interception of Brady Quinn 48 yards for a touchdown on Cleveland’s next play as the Ravens overcame a horrendous start for a 16-0 win over the hapless Browns on Monday night.
The Ravens (5-4) didn’t score in the opening half, when they used up their three timeouts in the first 6:15, committed silly penalties, converted just one third down and actually made the Browns (1-8) look respectable.
But on Baltimore’s first possession of the second half, quarterback Joe Flacco connected on a 41-yard pass to Derrick Mason, who spun out of cornerback Brandon McDonald’s tackle and raced down the sideline to the Cleveland 13. Rice took it in from there to make it 7-0.
On the next snap, Quinn, making his first start since being pulled 10 quarters into the season by Cleveland coach Eric Mangini, threw high and wide to tight end Robert Royal and the ball bounced to Landry, who scampered in untouched to make it 13-0.
The Ravens missed the extra point, but that hardly mattered against a Cleveland offense that has scored only five offensive TDs in its past 15 games and didn’t cross the Baltimore 45-yard line.
It was Baltimore’s first shutout since Nov. 26, 2006, and it came at the perfect time for the Ravens, who had dropped four of five and were in danger of falling too far behind Cincinnati and Pittsburgh in the AFC North.
Instead, they feasted on Quinn, who was sacked four times, hurried countless more and finished just 13 of 31 for 99 yards and two picks. Mangini switched to the former first-round pick after Derek Anderson went 1-4 and posted the NFL’s lowest quarterback rating since replacing Quinn at halftime of a 34-3 loss to the Ravens on Sept. 27.
But Peyton Manning under center couldn’t help this bunch of Browns, who managed just 74 yards after halftime.
Cleveland had the ball 13 times. The Browns punted nine, threw two interceptions and ran out the clock to end the league’s first scoreless opening half this season. The game ended with Quinn throwing short to Cribbs, who was drilled by Ravens defensive end Dwan Edwards as the clock expired.
Cribbs laid motionless in the middle of the field for several minutes before he was taken off the field on a cart.
He was taken to a local hospital for further tests. Mangini said Cribbs had movement and feeling in all parts of his body when he left the stadium.
A planned protest by Cleveland fans to stay out of their seats for the opening kickoff never materialized. However, the stadium was nearly empty early in the fourth quarter, a symbol of disgust that may resonate with owner Randy Lerner as he evaluates Mangini’s first season in Cleveland.
Following Landry’s TD, the Ravens picked off Quinn again as cornerback Chris Carr hauled in a ball that went off wide receiver Mike Furrey’s hands. On the return, Quinn took out Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs with a questionable chop block that drew a 15-yard penalty and may lead to a fine.
Suggs limped to the locker room for more tests on what the team said was a sprained knee.
During pregame warmups, Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis reached down, picked up a hunk of torn-up turf and shoved it into his mouth. As he munched on the grass, Lewis told a nearby Baltimore official, “That’s mine. ” If the Ravens thought they could intimidate the Browns, they were mistaken.
Cleveland’s defense, which had two weeks to game plan for Baltimore, showed Flacco some new looks and held the Ravens scoreless in the first half.
For the Browns, this was progress.
For the Ravens, this was embarrassing.
Whatever coach Jim Harbaugh said at halftime worked.
Baltimore was in self-destructive mode from the outset.
Harbaugh lost an instant-replay challenge on the first play from scrimmage, costing him a timeout. Baltimore then had to burn its other two timeouts before seven minutes had expired as the Ravens’ offense appeared disorganized and was late coming out of the huddle.
Despite the sloppiness, the Ravens drove to the Cleveland 18, but Steve Hauschka was wide left with a 36-yard field goal attempt. He later atoned with a 44-yarder to make it 16-0.

A victory against Cleveland would be a necessary first step for the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh to keep its playoff hopes alive or the Browns can ruin rival Steelers’ season with victory. With their chances of defending that title fading with each defeat, the Steelers hit the road Thursday night looking to halt their midseason swoon with a 13th consecutive victory over the feebleCleveland Browns . Pittsburgh (6-6) started the season 1-2, but then ran off five consecutive wins to put itself in position to challenge emerging Cincinnati in the AFC North. We are just two days away from another Thursday Night Football NFL picks matchup, this week the Pittsburgh Steelers will be heading to Cleveland to take on the Browns. After the defending champion Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Oakland Raiders just about anything can happen this Thursday night as the Steelers look to avoid a fifth straight NFL picks loss.
The 6-6 Pittsburgh Steelers take on the 1-11 Cleveland Browns Thursday night on the NFL Network in a Week 14 AFC North Division clash. Last week, the defending Super Bowl champs were shocked at home by the lowly Raiders while the Browns gave the Chargers all they wanted but eventually fell 30-23. The Steelers and the Browns have already met once this season with the Steelers winning 27-14 behind a 417-yard performance by QB Ben Roethlisberger. This head-to-head matchup has been all Pittsburgh with the Steelers winning 12 in a row. NFL odds makers expect Pittsburgh’s dominance over Cleveland to continue, listing the Steelers as a 10-point favorite with the total set at 34.
Cleveland is just 1-10 in its last 11 divisional games and already eliminated from the playoffs, and if the playoffs started today, Pittsburgh would be on the outside looking in as well. Cleveland would like nothing more than to end their 12-game losing streak to Pittsburgh and to, perhaps, spoil the Steelers playoff chances in the process.
The good news is that the Browns have not quit yet. They have been competitive in each of their last four games and have covered the spread in three straight games as a result. Cleveland’s defense is much better than many realize, but the statistics don’t paint that picture as it has to spend way too much time on the field due to the Browns lackluster offense. That defense will have to be on its A-game Thursday night, but it will need some help from the offense to have any chance at pulling off the upset. Brady Quinn has played much better in recent weeks as he tries to convince management that he is the long term answer at QB. He can really make a statement this week if he can play well against a Steelers defense that has allowed 27 points to both Kansas City and Oakland in two of their last three games. It is worth noting that the Steelers are on a 0-5 ATS skid versus teams with a losing record.
The Steelers have lost four in a row to find themselves slipping out of the playoff picture. This skid has Mike Tomlinson facing adversity for the first time as a head coach. He has hinted that he may shake up the lineup to get his team’s attention. The bottom line is, he must have his team ready to play on the road without much preparation time against a Browns team that is not laying down.
The Steelers absolutely crushed the Browns through the air in the season’s first meeting, but the passing game could take a hit as Hines Ward could miss with a hamstring injury. That means the Steelers could use a coming out party from Limas Sweed. Big things were expected from Sweed, who was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft, but so far he has been a major disappointment with only once catch this season. It is worth noting that the Steelers are 8-3-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings. If you like Pittsburgh to continue its dominance over the Browns.

If you're the type who likes or procrastinating, say, there is no time like the present. If you do not think this is true, take notes on the Cleveland Browns. Before the ink dries completely in the invitations to the combine, the Browns gave public notice of seven moves files just days after the system. The contracts were terminated with Ken Dorsey, and Terry Cousin Antwan Peek. The contracts have been canceled for the offensive lineman Eric Young, Mike Dragosavich punter and kicker Jason Reda.
One thing has not changed over the Browns in Cleveland Browns Foundation, which was created in 1999 to help those in need. When it comes to the foundation, all associated with the Browns of hops to lend a hand to civic groups, hospitals, nonprofit organizations, charities, schools and charities in the community in northern Ohio.
The Browns also announced recently that the price of tickets for home games will not increase in 2009. "After careful consideration, we decided not to change our ticket prices for next season," Browns President Mike Keenan. "We hope this, with the introduction of new payment options will ensure an affordable product."
Therefore, nothing less than a lot of things today in the recent Browns field. The schedule at home for the Browns include games where the Browns host the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders.
With great excitement and the season has not started yet, it sounds like 2009 will be good for the Browns!
