Nokia Aeon Touch Screen Phone-Myluxphone

Ever since Apple launched the iPhone Mobile Phone all the talk has been about its new touch-screen display. Then LG announced their iPhone rival, the Prada mobile phone which also has an entirely touch-screen user interface.

Let’s face it, the only feature that comes close to justifying Apple’s claim that the iPhone is “five years ahead of the competition” is the screen.

It uses a new technology called Multi-touch, which unsurprisingly involves the screen recognising more than one point of contact at a time. This allows for a greater range of commands than simply pressing and letting go with a single point device such as a mouse or a stylus. For example, on the iPhone it will be possible to zoom in and out of objects such as webpages or photos by “unpinching” and “pinching” them, that is drawing apart or closing together two fingers as if stretching or squeezing the image.

The touch-screen also enables the use of a virtual QWERTY keyboard which will appear on the screen whenever necessary, and which hopefully should provide greater comfort than typing using the dinky little QWERTY buttons on a Blackberry Mobile Phone.

Samsung, meanwhile, are not to be left behind in the touch-screen race. They say their new W559 is the first screen to offer “tactile feedback”. The VibeTonz system allows the buttons onscreen to feel more like mechanical ones, making the phones easier to use when the screen isn’t clearly visible. It can also be configured to throb in different ways when receiving messages from different people!

The Japanese network DoCoMo have gone one better still. While launching the D800iDS, a new touch-screen mobile device that bears more a passing resemblence to the Nintendo DS, they also unveiled a phone that appeals to the senses in a different way. It gives off a relaxing scent! The Sony Ericsson SO703i comes with “replaceable scented sheets” to relax the user while making calls, and features nine different aromas!

So it seems that touch-screens mobiles are the future, and why the hell not, if it means manufacturers are going to be producing models like the NOKIA Aeon. Unfortunately it is only a prototype at the moment, but there should be a worldwide campaign to get it into production. Its the best-looking phone I’ve ever seen!

The Nokia Aeon is sexy, sleek, and super thin. Aeon will likely be one of the most sought after Christmas gifts for the year it’s released. This phone has a touch screen that covers the entire body of the phone. The key pad and screen marriage will set trendy cell phone buyers into must-have frenzy. Aeon stays close to the traditional cell phone design, and it would be user friendly for first time cell phone owners.

Following the allocation of 3G licenses early this year for the three networks of China Mobile, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom, as well as technology convoluted the conditions imposed by the regulations, are indications that Nokia will be a meeting just above the table at the tea party, the new Chinese portal Xinhua reports:

Nokia expects China to strengthen cooperation with China and the sector of information play an active role in the development of China TD-SCDMA industry, Chinese Vice Minister Zhang Dejiang says

As reported earlier this year, China is turning to the 3G networks to help stimulate the economy, each of the operators to work in a different rule, China Telecom will be devoted to the U.S. Standard CDMA 200, Unicom has reduced the road W-CDMA, while China Mobile has invested a fortune in his real home-grown TD-SCDMA standard.

From a political point of view, it is clear that TD-SCDMA will not be allowed to fail because the government is far behind these movements. What does this mean for suppliers of equipment?

Basically, has resulted in Western suppliers, including Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson are marginalized when it comes to participation. Alcatel was able to win business in 14 regions to meet the needs of China Unicom, while the signing of $ 230 million in contracts with China Telecom.

"The 3G race (in China) is an important factor in what I think is an interesting market to come," Ben Verwaayen, CEO of Alcatel-Lucent, said yesterday in Beijing. "If we look at the market and the current economic crisis, it's good to see China play a bigger role than ever. "

Ericsson said it has taken 30% of China Unicom 3G network, allowing Chinese suppliers Huawei and ZTE to combat the property, with Huawei was the big winner.

While Nokia? In March, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), a subsidiary of the Finnish mobile giant, has announced the signing of framework agreements with China Mobile and Unicom to a maximum of U.S. $ 1. $ 1 billion in orders. NSN is one of the least recognized of the company Nokia, however, is certainly a division should not be ignored, showed that NSN has contributed 34% of the group's turnover.

Nokia has already provided important infrastructure deployments by China Mobile of Phase II of the deployment of 3G network, its testing of deployment in the province of Hainan. Now, with the equipment being deployed in 28 major cities in China, Nokia Siemens Networks has provided the city with the most efficient networks based on TD-SCDMA 3G commercial preparation, as determined by the Chinese telecommunications regulator.

"We are very confident in our 3G TD-SCDMA solution, and are proud to show their abilities. Nokia Siemens Networks has provided us tremendous support on the ground such that our 2G and 3G TD-SCDMA networks optimized and ready to manage access to broadband and the tariffs demanded by advanced applications, "said Zhou Chengyang, MCC President of Hainan. "We have laid a solid foundation for launching commercial services in the province of Hainan and look forward to working closely with Nokia Siemens Networks on a large scale and high quality services, TD-SCDMA. "

Thus, it is hoped that this bleed suuccess Nokia more major revenue driver phones. China Mobile is now more of a player base with respect to aircraft, as it now comes to more rural areas of growth in the number of subscribers. My hope is that Nokia will play an important role in this area, as discussed in a previous post, Nokia has a very strong catalog of mobile phones to choose from, and also benefit from higher margins in the low range than its competitors.
